Sorry Pippen didn’t make an appearance on the camera today but impacted the recording in other ways.

Thanks Rae1957 for your lovely review!

Please interact with me…. twitter @WeAreYarnPcast, ravelry group, comment here on the show notes!

Off the “needles”… Frobisher the Penguin.  Pattern: Mommy Penguin from Amigurumi World by Ana Paula Rimoli.  Forgot to mention the sample was by Mad Angel Creations and was super nice, fingering weight supewash merino/nylon, colorway “Cthulu Rising”.

In the works…

  • …. Watershed Cardigan by Amy Swenson in Happy-Go-Lucky Worsted, US 7 needles, blocked to within an inch of its life, no sleeves yet!
  • Linen tank!  Finally getting that grosgrain on it! (you guys need to get on me about not having a good picture of that on my rav project page.)
  • Ebbtide Shawl by Elizabeth Doherty out of my handspun on US 6.  Making it without the fancy spine!  Go and change a pattern if you don’t like it!

Acquisitions… Interweave Crochet Summer 2012.  Love the shoes, and other things.  The romper is scary.

Ripped out the Lacy Vest on air!  Help me pick out which cardigan to make at the ravelry group! Or, if you don’t have a ravelry account and don’t want one, leave your vote here and I will include it when I check the poll in 2 weeks!

Talked about Tour de Fleece and my goal of 1 ounce per day during event.  Concerned about the goal, I talk about why, in a rambling kind of way.

Comments

  1. I liked the antique lace and/or the razor cardigan w/the one button- the last one w/the long knitting in the front was pretty too. And good luck w/the 1oz/day thingy- at the end of the month I may upset your plans- oops!

  2. shame about having to rip the vest, but if you not happy, better to frog.
I’d consider doing the leaf cardigan.
don’t blame you adapting the shawl, it has a good effect.
I don’t spin so unsure how much an ounce makes, but I think it is a reasonable amout to try for.
