This Week from Pinterest:

  1. 1 pound ground turkey instead of 1.5 lb ground beef
  2. Added a couple teaspoons beef soup base and seasoning after brown and before adding beer
  3. Onion powder instead of onions
  4. Only 1 packet of brown gravy (and next time I make this I’ll not make it separately in it’s own pan – I’ll just pour it all in the pan with the beef
  5. 1 can golden corn and 1 can of peas n carrots instead of the frozen ones.  Just dumped them on top of the meat mix instead of putting them in the pan.
  6. As an afterthought sprinkled some garlic powder and thyme over the meat mixture.
  7. Used instant potatoes (Idahoan Applewood Bacon and Cheddar potatoes) instead of making from scratch
  8. Since the potatoes already had the flavor, just sprinkled a little cheese on top for looks and sprinkled a little parsley over that to make it pretty.

Question time!

A lot of things are surreal – what I talk about at the beginning, and the fact that I just typed “Episode 100.”

I hope you enjoy the Q&A – we’ll be doing this for a while. I really like to talk.

Projects I talk about in the episode:
#everystitcheveryprayerforfru socks
Red, White, and Bluebird of Hope
#crushthesack spin for auction – more info to come

This Namaste needle case is on my wish list now.
Fave coffee? Vienna Coffee!

And….. that’s as far in the questions I could get before I hit 45 minutes! More to come next week! Can’t wait to show you the progress I’ve made on the spinning, socks, and sweater since Sunday!
