Up and Coming: My Birthday (wha??!?!?), Into the Wool, and the Middle Tennesse Fiber Fest in Dickson, TN (May 24)

Finished Object: Dishcloth for Smells Like Yarn Dishcloth-along

Work In Progress: Champagne Tank by Thea Coleman in Kraemer Yarns Belfast

Spinning: Finished up the Shetland! WOOT

Revisit the Trico3 vest and talk about what I think the yarn is going to turn into, and talk about some deep stash Arucania Pehuen in two colorways that I desperately want to turn into a summer top!

We have a featured FO this week, a WIP, some spinning, an acquisition, something awesome, and discussion of an old FO that is no more! Here we go!

Up and coming: Into the Wool, Middle TN Fiber Fest May 23-24, Zombie Knitpocalypse

Featured FO: daisyknits’ handspun ZuZu’s Petals (1 and 2). Beautiful job!

WIP: Champagne Linen Tank almost done with the lower bode

Spinning: Began plying SPAKAL! 2 full bobbins! Jumbo bobbin started! WEE! I also made some fauxlags out of one of my recently acquired batts to get it ready to spin up.

I acquired the Verena Knitting Summer 2011 magazine. It’s a great one!

Talked about the group that’s crocheting sleeping mats for the homeless in my county out of “plarn”. Awesome!

And, talked about spending some time airing my stash out, organizing, and finding an old FO that I just frogged!!!
